The National Assembly House
The National Assembly House is also a venue for commemorating significant national events, hosting high-level international guests of the Party and the State, as well as catering to the sightseeing and cultural needs of the people and international tourists. With its political and ideological significance, the building stands as a symbol of a Vietnam that loves freedom, peace, and is ready to cooperate with international friends.
The National Assembly House is a monumental architectural work that carries not only political implications but also immense ideological and cultural significance, becoming a symbol of the entire nation.
The National Assembly House stands at 39 meters tall, featuring a square architectural style with 5 above-ground floors and 2 basement floors. The total area of the building is 60,000 square meters, containing over 80 meeting rooms of various sizes and other functional rooms. Among them, the main meeting room of the National Assembly is Dien Hong Hall, situated at the center of the building. Its basic circular shape spans two floors (the first floor with 575 seats for delegates, and the second floor at the rear with 390 seats for guests and attending delegates).
Within the framework of the 9th Global Young Parliamentarians Summit hosted by the National Assembly of Vietnam, Dien Hong Hall also served as the venue for the dialogue session titled "Enhancing Digital Capacity for Youth." This dialogue session was chaired by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
